Payment Options

If you are not sure what your options are or you want to learn more about what the cost might be for the procedure you need, we have provided some standard information below. Please remember that all cost is based on the severity of your teeth.

What happens at my first visit?

Your initial appointment will usually consist of a full set of x-rays, and a comprehensive oral health examination. Because of the comprehensive nature of your initial appointment, we reserve 1 ½ hours to review your dental treatment options

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Any x-ryas taken by a previous dentist, if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking 
  • If you have dental insurance, please provide this information to our office in advance. Our insurance specialists willl contat your insurnace carrier and provide you with an estimated copay before your initial appointment. This will save time and allow s to process your dental claims for you. 

Important: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

If you have a medical condtion that may be of concern prior to any treatment rendered by our office (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, congenital heart conditions, etc” or if you are currently taking any medications. 

Financial Policy

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us 530-458-2101.

Please remember patients’ are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. 

Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks after your dental claim has been submitted. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is the patient’s responsibility. Prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this must be done prior to services being rendered. 

Dental Insurance

We provide high quality dental care that is tailored to each of our patient’s individual needs. We directly contract with Delta dental of California, but also accept all insurance companies that are considered ‘open network’ or Preferred Provider Option (PPO). We have insurance specialists and treatment coordinators available to give our patients explanations of treatment, including consultation regarding their insurance coverage and estimated co-payments, if any.
